Antonio Conte was the subject of a prank which took place during his pre-match press conference ahead of Friday night’s FA Cup clash at home to Hull City.
During the presser, Stefano Corti, an Italian presenter, approached the Chelsea boss with a Manchester United shirt which was printed with Antonio Conte and a number one on the back of the shirt.
The Chelsea head coach and press officer Steve Atkins were left bemused and shocked whilst Corti played a message on his tablet to show Conte.
Antonio Conte’s response on whether he wanted to keep the shirt was: “No you can take it. ”
Well played, Antonio!
Chelsea stopped their run of back-to-back defeats in a convincing win over West Brom on Monday and will be looking to put their poor start to the year behind them as they look to continue their FA Cup journey on Friday as they await Hull City.
