Chelsea has reportedly agreed a fee for Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud.
The Blues have had an £18 million bid accepted for the Frenchman, who will make the short trip across London.
A deal looks to have been reached despite the conflicting stories which emerged. On Monday evening, it appeared that a fee of £15 million had been agreed and news this morning claimed Arsenal wanted £30 million for the Frenchman.
Giroud looks set to move to West London after Arsenal agreed a £60 million club-record fee with Borussia Dortmund for striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The 31-year-old Frenchman travelled with the Arsenal squad ahead of their Premier League fixture with Swansea at the Liberty Stadium. It is thought that this will have no impact on his late move to the Bridge.
Michy Batshuayi looks set to leave the Club on loan as a consequence. Batshuayi turned down a move to Tottenham after Chelsea investigated a potential swap with Fernando Llorente. The Belgian now looks set to join Borussia Dortmund on loan as a replacement for the Arsenal-bound Aubameyang.
