Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata could see his time out of the Chelsea side extended after a close friend of the Spaniard passed away.
The 25-year-old had already been out of action due to suspension and injury but is set to be given time to grieve over the death of his close friend following the fatality.
As per the Daily Mail, Morata will not feature this weekend nor on Wednesday against Bournemouth due to fitness issues.
Morata had already been given time off as the report states to come to terms with the passing of his close friend but Morata could now see his time out extended.
With the Spaniard out, Michy Batshuayi is the only recognised centre-forward for the Blues and is likely to start for the Blues against Newcastle.
But as for Alvaro, our thoughts are with him, his friends’ family and friends and those connected to him. All the best Alvaro.
