Chelsea have spent the last month of so eyeing up potential forwards which could join the Premier League champions in order to boost the Blues’ chances in competitions they are still in.
Edin Dzeko has been a name talked about nearly the whole window in a double deal with his team-mate Emerson Palmieri, however talks are still ongoing for the pair as the Bosnian is still considering his future at the Italian club.
The Blues have now enquired for Olivier Giroud of Arsenal to give back-up to Alvaro Morata, with Michy Batshuayi’s short-term future at the club still unknown.
However, bad news for Chelsea fans, Giroud isn’t convinced on a move across London, leaving Antonio Conte once again frustrated, as the window draws to a close in a weeks time.
Seen against Arsenal, Chelsea lacked numbers and with missing out on several targets this month, the agony is set to continue for everyone connected with Chelsea.
Could this be the final straw for Antonio Conte?
