Chelsea captain Gary Cahill and Spaniard Cesc Fabregas have both been ruled out of the trip to Brighton on Saturday.
Antonio Conte confirmed the bad news for Chelsea supporters in his press conference ahead of the game and it leaves Chelsea short in numbers.
The duo both missed the penalty kicks win over Norwich on Wednesday and will continue to remain out for the Blues on Saturday.
Conte will now be without Pedro, Morata, Cahill and Fabregas for the fixture. This will give others the chance to fill in and prove themselves.
Andreas Christensen will likely hold his role in the side as he was initially rested for the Leicester draw before Gary Cahill picked up a hamstring injury.
