Antonio Conte has hit back at José Mourinho’s ‘clown’ insult, suggesting the Portuguese has senile dementia and that he’s overly concerned with what goes on at Chelsea.
The video took place in this afternoon’s press conference ahead of our game away at Carrow Road in the FA Cup against Norwich City.
During Jose Mourinho’s press conference on Thursday, he was asked if he had lost his passion for winning trophies and although he did not reference Antonio Conte by name, it was quite clear that the Portuguese boss was referring to the Italian as well as Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp.
‘Because I don’t behave as a clown on the touchline, it means that I’ve lost my passion?’ Mourinho replied.
‘I prefer to behave the way I’m doing it. Much more mature, better for my team, better for myself.
‘I don’t think you have to behave like a crazy guy on the touchline to have that passion.’
Antonio Conte had this to say about Mourinho’s comment via @amadoit_‘s twitter:

Antonio Conte said ‘Maybe sometimes someone forgets what’s said in the past, which is his behaviour, sometimes there is… I don’t know the name – ‘demenza senile’ – when you forget what you do in the past.’
